On-going latest fad, keto? Is it worth it??

Hello folks, so it's literally 2020 right now that we are living in & this term KETO is still around! YASS!! ( Congratulations, we all made it & so did the KETO diet) And we want to find it why or more like what are the reasons? There has to be something going on here behind this so called "fad" diet, trending so much! So, as to start with the latest blog on KETO this year , let's drive back to where & when it all started from! Can you make any guesses? (Yes, it's a millennial thing but guess what they were not the ones who invented it, ha!)

20's!! KETO was developed in 1920 for the treatment of Epilepsy for children. To understand any subject, one needs to peep in right through the science behind it! Basically KETO is high in fats, low in carbs & is adequate in protein. The body uses the energy by burning down the fats rather than the carbs. If there is carbs left in the diet, liver will covert that into fatty acids & ketone bodies. Further, glucose gets transformed into energy source, by these ketone bodies. The high level of ketone bodies in the blood, is called a state of Ketosis. This state resulted in reduction in epileptic seizures & thus it was seen as very effective for the adults facing Epilepsy. Many young people & children saw these seizures drop at least by half & astonishing fact was the results even persisted after they discontinued the diet! KETO-genic diet, mostly contains carbs anywhere between 20%-30% & remaining is all fats, which later your body is going to utilise for energy.

Back to 2020, it's a great diet to follow for weight loss, acne problem, heart inflammation, to improve brain functionality & seizures & much more...If followed right it can give you the results that you're exactly looking for! ( what my upcoming blogs are for!)Every coin has two sides & just like that I can confirm that you can ignore it or you can love it & make it love you back but for sure, you can't ignore KETO... it's here to stay! And so will be the results, well if you follow them correctly. Tune in to our upcoming blogs where you can acknowledge yourself with more info, yummiest KETO recipes & much more!
